The Bible doesn’t put people into categories of simply rich people and poor people. It actually focuses more on the heart of the one with or without wealth. Have you ever wanted something because you thought it would bring happiness into your life? Maybe it was achieving an accomplishment, acquiring a possession, or having a certain experience. Can you relate to the feeling of emptiness that followed? In this series we will study the words of the wisest man who ever lived as he chased all of life’s promises of happiness and fulfillment, only to find them hollow and empty when pursued apart from God.

"I don't NEED church." Have you have heard someone say this? Maybe you have even said it yourself. People say this for many reasons. They've been hurt by someone at church, and don't want to go back. They work hard all week and want to sleep in on the weekend. It's too hard to get everyone ready, it's too far, haven't found the right place. Whatever the reason, the belief that we don't need church is a myth. The truth is, you need church and the church needs you. Not only that, but Jesus WANTS you. You are loved. You are needed. You belong. Just as in Christ's body, we are many parts of one body, we all belong to each other. Romans 12:5
